Sedgemoor 2: Taunton CS Ladies 3, Cheddar Ladies 3.
Service started strongly and took an early lead with a goal from Tash Hole but Cheddar came back with two goals to take the lead. Hannah Mock then equalized for Service, her first goal for the Club. Cheddar had an opportunity to take the lead through a penalty stroke but were denied by a superb save from keeper Rachel Sharland. The 2nd half saw Cheddar score a fantastic goal but Service quickly responded with a second goal from Tash Hole and several chances to win the match late on. Service player of the match was midfielder Viv Moore, for strength, determination and quality distribution of the ball.
Davis Wood WESW league South-East 1: Taunton CS 2nd XI 2, East Devon 2nd XI 3.
Service started the game poorly, conceding 2 first half goals, but fought back to parity midway through the 2nd half with a brace of goals from in-form Joe Sibley. As both sides battled for the decisive goal Service keeper Joe Heayns made some outstanding saves but with 5 minutes to go the visitors buried a short corner to take the points in what was a highly competitive match
Davis Wood WESW league South-East 1: Exeter & Culm Vale Hornets 3rd XI 7, Taunton CS 2nd XI 1.
CS were not able to come to terms with the direct passing game of the league leaders, suffering a heavy defeat. It was however a good opportunity for several of the CS 3rd XI squad to experience several leagues higher. The CS goal came from Conor Neal, while joint men of the match were Andy Carter and Pete Hauselman.

Davis Wood WESW league South-East 1: Taunton CS 1st XI 6, Sidmouth 2nd XI 1.
Without a doubt this was the best team performance so far this season by Service 1sts. They took an early lead through Joe Sibley from a slick short corner routine and a succession of quick incisive attacks from midfield led to man of the match Sibley scoring 4 more times. In the closing stages the mercurial Steve Grenfell got his name on the score sheet, finishing off another fine move from the Service half back line.
Davis Wood WESW league South-East 1: West Dorset 3, Taunton CS 2nd XI 0.
A serious player shortage meant that the team travelling down to Bridport included 4 from the third team squad. All 4 acquitted themselves very well, as indeed the team as a whole did, but were unable to prevent West Dorset taking all three points. Joint men of the match were Simon Driver and Simon Dacey.

Sedgemoor 2: Taunton CS Ladies 1, Taunton Vale Ladies 4th XI 1.
Service got off to a shaky start but gained composure and took lead with a super goal from Taylor Davis. Vale had majority of possession for the rest of the half but could not get through the Service defence. The home side came out strongly in the second half but could not convert pressure into goals and with only 7 minutes to go, Vale scrambled the equaliser. Player of the match was Becca Hill at the heart of the Service defence.

Sedgemoor 2: Shepton Ladies 2nd XI 1, Taunton CS Ladies 3.
CS took an early lead through a goal from Helen Jones and extended it through a fantastic short corner goal from Tash Hole. The second half saw Shepton pull a goal back but CS held their composure to secure the win through another short corner goal. Player of the match was Lottie Merrick-Wren for outstanding driving, positional play with Becca Hill also having a fine game in defence.
Davis Wood WESW league South-East 1: Taunton CS 1st XI 1, Taunton Vale 4th XI 2.
In a very evenly matched local derby, Service finished the first half a goal down in spite of passages of free-flowing attacking hockey. More of the same after the break was rewarded by an excellent goal from skipper Ryan Garland. As the match neared its end, the visitors pressed hard and secured the win with a real poacher’s goal.
Davis Wood WESW league South-East 1: Bridgwater 2nd XI 2, Taunton CS 2nd XI 0.
CS fell behind to two early goals and never managed to get their game together sufficiently to force their way back into the contest.
Davis Wood WESW league SE District 2: Taunton CS 3rd XI 3, Ashmoor 3rd XI 2.
The Service played their best hockey so far this season, hitting the post twice, but were 0-2 down with ten minutes to go. Fortunately Dave Grenfell and James Sewell stepped up to the plate and struck 3 quick goals past a bewildered Ashmoor defence to turn the game on its head. Man of the match was Harry Stone who was excellent in goal, but this was a great all-round performance from a team containing many youngsters.

Friendly - Taunton CS Ladies XI 1, Burnham 2
With a newly formed team for the season, we started with a very strong team performance and were 1-0 up at half time with a persistent attack from Tash & Taylor and finish from Rach Sanders. Taunton held majority of possession throughout and despite several shots on goal from Taylor, could not clinch the win, Burnham levelled towards the end of the second half and went on to get another, making final score 2-1 to Burnham. Disappointing result for all the hard work. Player of the match Charlie Fitzgerald for determination in midfield and creating balls through on the attack.
Davis Wood WESW league South-East 1: Taunton CS 1st XI 5, Bridgwater A XI 3.
The Civil Service mens 1st team registered their first win of the season, with a hard fought 5-3 victory over rivals Bridgwater. Trailing 2-0 within the first ten minutes, Civil played themselves back in to the match through a well worked short corner from Ryan Garland. The second half saw the momentum swing Service's way, with two goals in quick succession through man of the match Paul Bond and Garland again. A reply from Bridgwater saw the scores level at 3-3 before Joe Sibly found the net twice to ensure a morale boosting win.

Davis Wood WESW league SE District 2: Taunton CS 3rd XI 2, Minehead B XI 2
Goals from Conor Neal and James Coles earned a hard fought draw against Minehead. Harry Stone was excellent in goal. Ali Thorne and James Sewell were full of running but Civil often lacked the final pass to unlock Minehead's defence and score the winning goal. Man of the Match goes to the determined new winger Joe Bird.
